New whole-of-government contract replaces old Contract 801.
NSW Ministry of Health has awarded Contract 801 Food Services.
The contract is a whole-of-government, mandated arrangement. It replaces the old Contract 801, which expired on 31 March 2018.
The number of suppliers has changed from 22 to 16. Suppliers are specific for certain categories and regions.
Eligible buyers have to buy through supplier-hosted catalogues.
There are approximately 5,000 competitively priced products under this contract, with the flexibility to integrate new products to drive innovation and supply chain efficiency.
